Brenda Duty, Alaska Department of Fish and Game
Project WILD and Youth Education Coordinator for the State of Alaska. She graduated from UAF with a degree in Rural Development with an emphasis on land, renewable resources and education. Worked with the Department of Environmental Conservation in the Water Quality Division and the Food Safety Division in outreach and education in its many modalities. I’ve been with Fish and Game for nearly 9 years. I feel so fortunate to have traveled to so many communities in Alaska to support formal and informal education efforts across the state. My greatest claim to fame are my 7 children and 7 grandchildren, all of which have been my ‘test kitchen’ for trying out activities and lesson plans over the years.
